Robbery leads to murder at Norvell Park

(TULSA, Okla.) Update 11/18/2019: The man who was killed on Saturday was 18-year-old Montevion Hall. Phillip Moment Jr. has been charged with felony murder in connection to Hall's death and the investigation is continuing to identify more witnesses and possible suspects. ORIGINAL STORY: On Saturday at 4:33 p.m., officers responded to the area of 2700 N Norwood. There, they found a male dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Another man had been shot and a third remained at the scene. Officers learned the actual shooting took place in Norvell Park, about 7300 E. Independence. Homicide Detectives interviewed witnesses and the occupants of the car and learned it was a robbery gone bad. One subject, Philip Moment, 18, who was in the car with the deceased victim is being arrested and charged with felony murder. Detectives do not believe Moment shot the deceased, but rather was part of the robbery that led to the death of the victim.
