Woman arrested after husband found stabbed to death

(FT. TOWNSON, Okla.) On Tuesday, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) agents and deputies with the Choctaw County Sheriff's Office made an arrest in connection with a suspicious death in Ft. Towson. Shanda Johnson-Williams (48) was arrested in connection with the homicide of her husband Jamie Williams (48). The Medical Examiner determined the cause of death was related to a stab wound the victim received. On November 17, 2019, Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance after 48-year-old Jamie Williams was found unresponsive in his home in the 1000 block of S. Main in Ft. Towson. Paramedics were called, but the victim was deceased when they arrived. Johnson-Williams was arrested at a residence in Ft. Towson. She was booked into the Choctaw County Jail facing a charge of Murder in the First Degree. Her bond will be set at arraignment.
