Two dead after crashing stolen car

(TULSA, Okla.) Tulsa Police officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle near E 11 St and S Lynn Lane Rd around 3pm on Saturday.  The vehicle sped off, sideswiped another vehicle, and crashed into trees near 15800 E 11 St. Two of the three occupants were killed. The third is in critical condition. The occupants of the other vehicle were not injured. Around 2 pm police were called by staff at Studio 6 Motel, 8181 E 41 St who reported a white vehicle had struck a sign belonging to the motel and left the scene. When police arrived they discovered the vehicle owner in the lobby of the motel. He stated a female had taken his 2019 Subaru Impreza without permission. The owner was able to locate his vehicle using GPS and provide information to police. Officers were dispatched to Quik Trip, 18 N 193 EA, but the vehicle left that location before officers arrived. They found the vehicle near E 11 St and S Lynn Lane Rd. When they attempted to stop the vehicle the vehicle accelerated hard and sped away westbound.  Officers lost sight of the vehicle and when they arrived at S 161 EA approximately 30 seconds later they discovered the vehicle had sideswiped another westbound vehicle then ran off the road and struck trees near 15800 E 11 St. The female driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.  A female passenger was transported to hospital but pronounced dead shortly after arriving.  A male passenger was also ejected.  He was transported to hospital where his is in extremely critical condition at this time. The occupants of the other vehicle were not injured.  Next of kin have not been advised and no names are being released at this time.
