“Diversity in Policing” event January 18

(TULSA, Okla.) The Tulsa Police Department will be hosting its first “Diversity in Policing” recruiting event on Saturday, January 18, 2020, 10am-6pm.
Lunch will be provided.
Activities will include self-defense, Q&A session with TPD Officers, firearms training, an obstacle course, a TPD K9 presentation, and more. Participation is completely voluntary.
The purpose for this free event is provide participants a hands-on glimpse of Tulsa Police Training while addressing any questions/concerns possible candidates may have about becoming a Tulsa Police Officer.
Space will be limited so applicants must act fast.
Requirements:
Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Note: How is Diversity defined?
Diversity may be defined as being unique in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, etc.
However, the Tulsa Police Department invites any applicant who self-identifies as being diverse in any way.
