(TULSA, Okla.) Breezy conditions will continue on Monday across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas as the low pressure system moves into Great Lakes Region. Otherwise, mostly sunny skies and near normal temperatures are expected across eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas on Monday. West to northwest winds with drier air moving into the region will raise the potential for any wildfires to spread quickly. Benign weather with a bit a warming trend is expected Tuesday into Wednesday before the next chance of rain returns to the area Thursday into Thursday night, as the next cold front and associated mid-level trough swing through the area. Another cold front is slated to move through on Saturday with no precipitation anticipated. Even with a couple of cold fronts moving through during the late week and weekend time-frame, temperatures are expected to remain near normal to above normal for this time of year for the majority of the forecast period.
