Rain chances will return Friday across Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas in response to a low pressure system and associated cold front forecast to move through the region. Additional precipitation chances look to be possible during the upcoming holiday weekend as another low pressure system looks to push across the Plains. At this time, forecast temperatures would suggest precipitation remaining liquid through the weekend; though continue to monitor latest forecasts for the holiday weekend travel. 7-Day Forecast Monday: Sunny, with a high near 52. West wind around 5 mph. Monday night: Clear, with a low around 29. West wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight. Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 50. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning. Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 31. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 58. South wind around 5 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. South wind around 5 mph. Thanksgiving Day: Sunny, with a high near 59. South wind around 5 mph. Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers after 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
