(TULSA, Okla.) On Thursday at 11:43 p.m., officers with the Tulsa Police Riverside Division responded to a reported stabbing in the 1000 block of 64th Pl. S.
Upon arrival, EMSA Paramedics and Tulsa Firefighters were already on scene and performing CPR to a 9-year-old male victim.  
Officers learned the children’s parent was upstairs asleep when the 12-year-old daughter woke the parent up and said that she had stabbed her 9-year-old brother.  
The 9-year-old male victim was rushed to the hospital and taken into surgery. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after 2:30 a.m. 
The 12-year-old female suspect was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Family Center for Juvenile Justice.  
The Tulsa Police Child Crisis Unit is handling the investigation.  
This is the 2nd homicide in the City of Tulsa in 2023.
