(BROKEN ARROW, OKLA.) Thirteen years ago, Paige Moore walked out of her parent’s home and was never seen or heard from again.

The disappearance of Moore, who was 17 years old at the time, had always been classified as a missing person’s case. But on Thursday, the Broken Arrow Police Department reclassified her case as a homicide after spending a year interviewing more than 70 people, including potential suspects, and uncovering new information.

The remains of Paige Moore have still not been located. But her parents, Bobbie and Michael Moore, and her friends have not stopped pushing for the case to be solved.

Detectives are attempting to locate a vehicle that was possibly used in the homicide; a 2002 dark green Chevrolet Tracker. The vehicle registration expired in 2016 and detectives believe it is possibly abandoned in the Tulsa area.

The last license plate was OK 931KSW, and the last 4 numbers of the VIN are “1305”. The current registered owner told detectives he sold the vehicle to a male named “Ramon” but was unable to provide any further information.

Moore left her home in the 1100 block of North Ironwood Avenue in Broken Arrow in the early morning on July 10, wearing what she typically wore to bed — a gray Goo-Goo Dolls shirt with long black sleeves and red slippers. She was to attend summer school that day but never arrived.

She had taken her belongings, along with her cell phone. Police said Moore may have fallen in with the wrong crowd before her disappearance but she was believed to have left the home on her own accord.

BAPD Public Information Coordinator Ethan Hutchins said the department is “grateful to the members of our community who have already come forward with information and continue to work with detectives.

“We believe there are still individuals who hold key details that could help us locate the vehicle, uncover the whereabouts of Paige Moore’s remains, and identify those responsible for her death.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Det. Leon Rademacher at 918-451-8200 ext. 8731, or submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or TulsaCrimeStoppers.org. A cash reward is available for information leading to an arrest or the location of Paige’s remains.

“As an agency, we remain steadfast in our commitment to pursuing justice, and we will never stop working to bring resolution to families impacted by tragedy. We ask for your continued support and vigilance as we pursue justice for Paige,” Hutchins said.
