House fire devastates family

(BINGHAMTON, NY) A fire broke out the night of July 5th at an apartment on State Street in Binghamton. Inside was 24-year-old Stephon Davis, his girlfriend and young daughter. Although they all made it out safely, Davis says mentally, he is not okay. The family faces complete devastation as they come to the realization that they have lost everything after just moving in July 1st. Davis says his daughter is still in shock after seeing her brand-new bedroom destroyed. “I TRY SO HARD!”, cried out Davis as he watched his apartment be engulfed in flames. Local police say the location of the fire is in fact a crime scene, as the fire appears to have started from the use of illegal fireworks.
