UPDATE: The traffic fatality victim has been identified as Vernetta Colbert, 70.On Wednesday just before midnight officers were dispatched to an injury collision.&nbsp;Officers arrived to find EMSA transporting a patient to a local hospital. The collision was between a pedestrian and a vehicle near 7000 South Highway 75 Southbound, on the exit ramp to 71st Street Westbound.&nbsp;Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle, found to be a juvenile. The pedestrian has succumbed to his injuries from the collision.&nbsp;The riverside Traffic unit is investigating the cause of the collision.&nbsp;The victim was a middle aged white male. The driver is being arrested on 1st Degree manslaughter charges.&nbsp;The investigation in ongoing.
