(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) Please remain cautious of scams related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Any advertisements or offers for early access to a vaccine in exchange for payment are entirely fraudulent. OSDH does NOT require payment for vaccine registration. For the most accurate information regarding the Vaccine Scheduler Portal and registration, visit https://oklahoma.gov/covid19/vaccine-information/vaccine-faqs.html Oklahoma’s CDC-approved distribution plan will ensure the vaccine is available to all Oklahomans, regardless of where in the state they live — starting with the healthcare professionals who put their health on the line to keep us safe. The first doses of the vaccine arrived on December 14th and are being reserved for priority groups, starting with frontline health care professionals who are working day and night to keep Oklahomans safe. This doesn’t mean the vaccine will be available to everyone right away. There was a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccines in December 2020, and supply will continually increase in the following weeks until all Oklahomans are able to choose whether to receive the vaccine.
