Man arrested after driving into Pilates building

(TULSA, Okla.) On Monday at about 11:15 p.m., officers were called to Total Pilates in reference to a collision. When officers arrived, they found the driver inside the vehicle. During the investigation, officers learned that the driver collided into the building causing damage to his vehicle and the building. Witnesses informed officers that the truck was doing donuts (spinning in circles) in the parking lot and collided into the building. During the officers’ investigative interview, the driver had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage about his breath and person, and was very unsteady upon his feet. After field sobriety testing was completed, Francisco Esparza, 35, was placed in custody for suspicion of DUI/APC, and traffic warrants.
