Arrests made in Creek County murder

(CREEK COUNTY, Okla.) Two men are in custody after an investigation connected them to the murder of 37-year-old Sean Michael Henderson of Creek County. Henderson’s body was found floating in floodwater outside of Mannford, Okla., on May 30. The Creek County Sheriff’s Office requested that the OSBI assist with the investigation after deputies discovered evidence that Henderson’s death was a result of foul play. An anonymous tip called into CrimeStoppers on June 2 led investigators to a residence in the 4600 block of 65th West Avenue in Tulsa. Agents say Henderson went to the residence where 63-year-old Paul Edward Carrier was living and got into an argument with him. Carrier then shot Henderson in the backyard of the residence, killing him. Carrier and 45-year-old David W. Davidson then disposed of Henderson’s body in a flooded-area outside of Mannford. On June 4, Davidson was arrested at his home in Tulsa without incident. He was booked into the Creek County jail and charged with First Degree Murder and Desecration of a Human Corpse. On June 5, an arrest warrant was issued for Carrier. At approximately 6:30 that evening, Carrier was arrested in Tulsa without incident. He is also in the Creek County jail facing charges of First Degree Murder and Desecration of a Human Corpse. This investigation, and subsequent arrests, was a collaborative effort between the Creek County Sheriff’s Office and the OSBI.
