(TULSA, Okla.) On Sunday just after 1 a.m., Tulsa Police Officers were dispatched to the QT at 1443 South Denver (W 15th and S Denver) in reference to a stabbing.  The initial arriving officer observed a significant trail of blood originating in the street just north of the QT that led into the store in front of the counter. There he found EMSA and Fire tending to a male laying in a large pool of blood.  Preliminary investigation leads officers to the following chain of events: The victim and the suspect, Mikell Miller, exchanged words before aggressing each other and engaging in what appeared to be mutual combat. At some point during the melee, Miller pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim numerous times.  The victim then stumbled into the QT with Miller following before Miller fled the area.  Miller then located a nearby Tulsa Police Officer that was unaware of what had transpired.  Miller informed the officer that he just stabbed someone in self defense and wanted to turn himself in and handed the officer the weapon used in the assault. Miller was later booked into the county jail on a charge of Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
