(TULSA, Okla.) On Monday just before 3 a.m., officers were assigned to a Shots Heard call in the area of 1309 N. Denver Ave.  Officers  arrived and observed a man running from the residence at 1308 N. Denver Ave.  This male was a victim who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.  Officers rendered aide and learned the suspect was the resident of 1308, 23-year-old Hasaan Thomas. Thomas, a female and Thomas’ four children were present at the home earlier in the night when someone shot multiple rounds into the house.  Thomas and the female were apparently loading their children in their car to leave when a silver Honda pulled into the driveway.  Thomas apparently panicked thinking the previous shooters were back and fired into the Honda multiple times, striking the victim.  It was later learned that the victim and Thomas are friends and Thomas would not have shot at the victim had he known it was the victim's car. Officers held perimeter at the house until contact was made with Thomas through his mother.  It was learned that Thomas had fled and was not at the residence.  Thomas eventually agreed to meet officers at the QuikTrip at Pine and Peoria where he surrendered.
