Woman found shot in convenience store parking lot dies

(TULSA, Okla.) On July 23rd, at approximately 12:15 am officers were assigned to 205 Mohawk Blvd. in reference to a shooting.  Officers arrived and located the victim down in the parking lot. The victim was rushed to the hospital via EMSA where she passed away at 0102 hours.  The victim has been identified as Soconda Boyd, 47. A large group of people were present in the parking lot upon officers' arrival, most of whom were uncooperative.  One witness described gunfire possibly coming from a dark-colored SUV.  Multiple cartridge cases were located at the scene, with additional cartridge cases along Mohawk Blvd. to the east of the store.  The shooting is under investigation.
