(TULSA, Okla.) On Monday just before 2 a.m., officers were radio assigned to Apache Manor/Tulsa Housing Authority in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival officers met the victims and persons reporting. According to the victims, they were outside on the back porch smoking cigarettes with their friend. The friend informed the victims he observed a black male loitering in the area and told him to go away. Approximately five minutes later the black male approached the victims and the friend and produced a small handgun and forced all three of them inside their residence. While inside the residence the suspect observed a stun gun setting on a table and used it to tase one of the victims multiple times. The victim also stated the suspect hit him multiple times with the small handgun. The other victim informed officers that the suspect forcibly took her engagement ring off her finger and held them captive in their own apartment for approximately one hour. Ironically, the friend of the victims was never assaulted and never had a gun pointed at him. The friend was also allowed to walk freely throughout the residence. The loss included an engagement ring, medicine from the kitchen cabinets and a backpack. The suspect left the residence via the back door and fled the scene. The friend left shortly afterwards in fear he would go to jail over some outstanding warrants. As a result he was not interviewed. K-9 officers arrived and attempted to track the suspect but were unsuccessful.
