Arrest made in Boswell homicide investigation

(BOSWELL, Okla.) The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has made an arrest in the homicide of a 25-year-old Boswell, Okla., woman that occurred on September 9 shortly before midnight. The Choctaw County Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call about a shooting at a residence in the 300 block of 4th Street in Boswell. At that time, officers from the Boswell Police Department found a woman outside of the residence deceased, apparently the victim of a homicide. They arrested 36-year-old John Stubbs at the scene on unrelated charges and called the OSBI to assist with the investigation. On September 10, Stubbs was charged with one count of First Degree Murder for the death of 25-year-old Rachell Jordan.
