Police identify man shot to death during home invasion

(TULSA, Okla.) On Thursday just before 11 p.m., officers from the Mingo Valley Division were radio assigned to a shooting at the apartments near 101st and Sheridan Road. 22-year-old Benjamin Montgomery was inside his apartment when the two unknown suspects entered.  Montgomery sustained a gun shot wound to his upper torso. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but later died. Another adult male victim was struck in the head by a blunt object.  His injury was not considered life threatening. The unknown suspects are described as two black males.  One male wore a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.  He was armed with a semi-auto handgun.
