Mother of murdered 19-year-old returns to Langston to mark one year anniversary

(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) The mother of 19-year-old Brandon Dupree returned to Langston on Monday to mark the year anniversary of his murder. Bonita Martin traveled to Langston in an effort to generate leads in her son’s case. Dupree had just moved to Tulsa to attend welding school. He traveled to Langston with friends when they heard about a party occurring in conjunction with Homecoming at Langston University. The party took place at The Langston Center, no affiliation with the University, on October 20, 2018. During the party, a fight broke out. Dupree was shot one time and died at the hospital.
