Mom arrested for trafficking meth with two kids in the car

(TULSA, Okla.) On Thursday at 4:00 PM a patrol officer saw a stolen car at a motel at 8500 E. 41st Street. Officers watched the car and saw it leave a short time later. The suspects decided they needed gas and stopped at the QT at 7900 E. 41st where they were detained. Jared Morrell, Casandra Jones and Jones’ two boys, aged four and five, were in the car.  Jones had a significant quantity of methamphetamine in her purse.  She also had alprazolam, and the supplies needed to package and sell the drugs and pills. While being questioned, Jones admitted to having two pistols in her motel room. The pistols along with some more methamphetamine and a counterfeit $20.00 bill were found in her room. Jared Morrell was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of marijuana. Casandra Jones was arrested for trafficking a controlled dangerous substance,  possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and possession of firearm AFCF. Jones and Morrell were booked at DLM.  The children were placed with Jones' mother. The car was returned to its owner.
