Snow continues to fall in NE Oklahoma, refreeze expected overnight

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas until 6 p.m. Monday.

The best lift has shifted into far eastern OK/northwest AR, with snowfall tapering off some farther west.

Up to 4 inches of snow will be possible across portions of northeast Oklahoma, mainly to the north of Interstate 44. Lesser amounts will be possible south of Interstate 44 and across northwest Arkansas.

Slick spots will be possible on area roads.

It will be cloudy during the early evening Monday with gradual clearing and a low around 19. Wind chill values will be between 7 and 17 degrees going into Tuesday morning, with a north wind around 15 mph and wind gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday will be sunny with a high near 36.  Tuesday night will be clear with a low around 16.

Warmer weather will return on Wednesday with a high near 44, a low around 25, clear skies and calm wind.
