Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Aaron J. Smith, 32, of Jenks was killed when the 4-wheeler he was on crashed early Friday morning.

The wreck happened on County Road Watson Creek southeast of Clayton in Pushmataha County at 1 a.m.

Troopers said Justin P. Cowan, 32, of Tulsa was driving northbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control and rolled the vehicle.

Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cowan was taken to a local hospital and listed in good condition.

Two other passengers, Brason T. Calloway, 28, of Sallisaw and Curtis D. Holmes, 29, of Jenks were also taken to a local hospital. Both are expected to survive.

Troopers said the cause of the collision was DUI and unsafe speed.
