(TULSA, Okla.) A man is in custody after a standoff at a Tulsa apartment complex Friday. Officers were called to the Garden Courtyard Apartments at 41st and Garnett around 2 p.m. after a security guard had an altercation with a resident who had pulled a gun on him. According to the victim, the suspect pulled the trigger and the gun jammed. The victim then disarmed the suspect. The suspect, later identified as Gary Morrison, and then ran into his apartment, saying he was getting his other gun. Officers were able to contain Morrison to his apartment and made several requests for him to come out. When he refused to come out, the Special Operations Team was notified and responded to the scene. The SOT Team deployed gas rounds into the apartment. We’re told Morrison then began cursing at officers, but complied with officer commands after more gas was deployed. He’s now at the county jail with a $20,500 bond.
