Winter Weather Update
(TULSA, Okla.) City of Tulsa street crews worked Sunday night to clear lanes with both plowing and salting.
Monday morning, crews stopped plowing and turned to salt to help with snow melt. While all main arterial roads are passable, the City’s focus Monday was on treating turn lanes and slick spots.

City Operations
Trash & Recycling- Though operations were in place Monday, there were a few hilly areas that are too slick for the City’s haulers to navigate and the cold is affecting operations. Residents are asked to leave all trash at the curb and it will be picked up when the weather warms up. The haulers plan to get all trash picked up this week. If your recycling gets missed, please hold onto it until next week as the haulers will not return this week to pick it up. If you have backyard service, please make sure your gate is not frozen, or place your trash outside your gate or at the curb.
Waterline Breaks
Extended periods of cold weather can cause an uptick in waterline breaks on City streets and in neighborhoods. As of Monday, there have been several waterline breaks with minimal residential impacts.
If you see a waterline break on a City street or in a right-of-way, call (918) 596-9488. Before calling, the best way to check to see whether the break has already been reported is through the City's waterline break dashboard, which can be found online at www.cityoftulsa.org/breakboard.
