Tulsa company launches online battle for $20K in Esports scholarships

(TULSA, Okla.) Tulsa-based company Recruit Rivals announced their first ever Collegiate Scouting Grounds on Tuesday, with up to $20,000 in college scholarships up for grabs. Students will have the chance to compete in one of four single-player and team based video game tournaments online, featuring League of Legends, Fortnite, Overwatch, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate.     “We are excited to provide amazing opportunities to students that nobody knew existed,” Recruit Rivals CEO Skyler Roberts said. Roberts said not only are students competing for scholarship dollars, they will be competing in front of coaches across the United States.   The Collegiate Scouting Grounds are endorsed by over 30 colleges.
