Road rage wreck leaves two dead in Bryan County

Troopers said it happened on US70 west of Durant ‪around 5 p.m.‬ We’re told Ralph F. McEnnerney, 52, of Kingston was drunk and driving east on US70 when he deliberately drove into another vehicle, also driving east. The collision caused the second vehicle to travel into the westbound lane where it struck a third vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, Glen Allan Kinyon, age 52, of Mead, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. His brother, Randy Kinyon, 47, of Henderson, Texas, who had been riding in the passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver’s wife, Violet Kinyon, 38, of Mead was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver’s son, Jesse David Kinyon, 19, of Mead, was taken to a local hospital, treated and released. The driver of the third vehicle, Steven Kelly Williams, 48, of Caddo, was taken to a local hospital, treated and released. Williams’ passenger, Shelley Lynn Mayo, 46, of Caddo, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. McEnnerney fled the scene but was followed by witnesses, then pulled over by Durant Police and taken into custody by troopers. He was booked into the Bryan County Jail for two counts of murder and leaving the scene of a fatality collision. Troopers ask anyone who witnessed the moving road rage incident starting near Kirsey Corner, West of Durant and traveling East towards the US70 bypass to please call Troop E Headquarters at (580)924-2601.
