8-year-old drowns in Bryan County pond

(BRYAN COUNTY, Okla.) A Colbert child is dead after drowning in a pond Wednesday evening. Troopers said the drowning happened in a private pond about 100 yards east of Colbert. We’re told the 8-year-old child was swimming with his sister when he went under and did not resurface.
