(TULSA, Okla.) EMSA has released the following updates for Tuesday’s storm. This information will be updated as needed: Since midnight Wednesday, EMSA has responded to one motor vehicle accident and one cold exposure call. Those numbers are not out of the ordinary, and they are in line with what EMSA would see on a day without winter weather conditions.   However, EMSA has seen a steep increase in slips in falls. Since midnight EMSA medics have responded to 8 calls related to slips and falls and have transported four patients to the hospital as a result of those calls. “On a normal day we would expect to see only a single slip and fall call,” EMSA spokesperson Adam Paluka said. “We encourage people to be extra cautious moving outside today, as they may not be prepared for the slick surfaces.”
